Cheesy Chicken Garlic Bread Sandwich -

This Cheesy Chicken Garlic Bread Sandwich is a delightful twist on a classic! Ready in just 35 minutes, it combines juicy shredded chicken, melted mozzarella, and sautéed bell peppers all sandwiched between crispy garlic bread. With a touch of cream cheese for creaminess and fresh basil for garnish, it's perfect for lunch or a quick meal. Easy to make with simple ingredients, this sandwich is sure to impress your taste buds!

Ingredients
  

2 large pieces of garlic bread (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded (grilled or rotisserie chicken works well)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup sautéed bell peppers and onions

¼ cup cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, sautéed bell peppers, and onions. Mix well until everything is evenly coated; season with salt and pepper to taste.

      Take the garlic bread pieces and place them on a baking sheet, cut side facing up.

        Spread the chicken mixture evenly over one slice of garlic bread.

          Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top of the chicken mixture.

            Place the other slice of garlic bread on top to form a sandwich.

              Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

                Remove from the oven, allow to cool for a few minutes, then slice the sandwich in half.

                  Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving for an added touch of flavor.
