Cheesy Taco Sticks

These Cheesy Taco Sticks are the perfect snack or appetizer for your next gathering! Made with taco-flavored cream cheese, shredded cheddar, seasoned ground beef, and fresh veggies, all wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough. They bake up crispy and golden in just 15 minutes. Serve them warm with sour cream and salsa for a deliciously cheesy treat that everyone will love. Great for parties or game day!

1 package (8 oz) of taco-flavored cream cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked ground beef or turkey, seasoned with taco spices

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup black olives, sliced

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp chili powder

Cooking spray

Optional: sour cream and salsa for dipping

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a medium bowl, combine the taco-flavored cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, cooked ground beef, diced tomatoes, black olives, green onions, garlic powder, cumin, and chili powder. Mix until well combined.

      Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into the individual triangles.

        On a clean surface, take a triangle of dough and place a generous tablespoon of the cheese and taco filling at the wider end of the triangle.

          Starting from the wide end, roll the dough over the filling towards the pointed end. Pinch the edges to seal well to avoid the filling leaking out during baking.

            Place the rolled taco sticks on the prepared baking sheet. For a golden finish, spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.

              Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the sticks are golden brown and crispy.

                Once baked, let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with sour cream and salsa for dipping.
