1 lb (450g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

12 oz (340g) rotini pasta

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for spice)

1 cup chicken broth

Cook the Rotini: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the rotini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

    Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

      Sauté Chicken: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for about 6-8 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

        Make Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to let it burn.
