Ingredients

8 oz linguine pasta

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/4 cup unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Cook the Linguine: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.

Prepare the Chicken: While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp of butter. Once melted, add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Make Cowboy Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Allow the mixture to bubble for 1-2 minutes.

Combine Everything: Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the butter sauce, tossing to coat the pasta. If the mixture looks dry, add a splash of reserve pasta water to bring it all together.

Serve: Plate the linguine and top with sliced chicken. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a fresh squeeze over the dish.
