Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup sweet chili sauce

2 tbsp sriracha (or to taste)

1 tbsp sesame oil

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Make the Meatball Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Form the Meatballs: Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced evenly apart.

Bake the Meatballs: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the meatballs for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.

Prepare the Firecracker Sauce: In a small saucepan, combine the sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil over medium heat. Stir until the mixture is heated through and slightly bubbly.

Coat the Meatballs: Once the meatballs are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them into the saucepan with the firecracker sauce. Gently toss the meatballs until they are well coated in the sauce.

Serve: Transfer the firecracker meatballs to a serving platter. Garnish with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for added texture and flavor.

Enjoy: Serve your firecracker meatballs warm, either as an appetizer or main dish, and watch your friends and family devour them!
