Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp sriracha (adjust for heat preference)

1 tsp sesame oil

3 cups chicken broth

2 packs of ramen noodles (discard the seasoning packets)

1 cup bok choy, chopped

1/2 cup green onions, sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water (optional for thickening)

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil. Add the chicken thighs, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).

Cook the Chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, add a small amount of oil and cook the marinated chicken thighs for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and crispy on the outside. Remove from the skillet and let them rest before slicing them into strips.

Prepare the Broth: In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer. Add chopped bok choy and sliced green onions. Allow it to cook for about 3-5 minutes until the bok choy is tender.

Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce: In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Slowly whisk in the heavy cream, then bring to a low simmer. If you'd like a thicker sauce, stir in the cornstarch mixture at this stage. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook the Ramen: In the simmering broth, add the ramen noodles and cook according to the package instructions (usually around 3-4 minutes). Stir gently to prevent sticking.

Combine: Once the ramen is cooked, gently mix in the garlic sauce while maintaining the heat, ensuring everything is well combined.

Serve: In bowls, distribute the fiery ramen mixture, top with sliced chicken, and garnish with sesame seeds and additional green onions if desired.

Enjoy: Serve hot and enjoy your spicy, creamy chicken ramen!
