Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece ginger, minced

1 red bell pepper, diced

1 cup snap peas, trimmed

3 green onions, sliced (white and green parts separated)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce (adjust for spice preference)

1 teaspoon honey

2 cups cooked jasmine rice

Sesame seeds for garnish

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.

Sauté Aromatics: Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Cook Chicken: Add the ground chicken to the skillet. Break it apart with a spatula and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink.

Add Veggies: Mix in the diced red bell pepper and snap peas. Cook for an additional 3 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

Flavor It Up: Pour in the soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, and honey. Stir to combine well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Finish with Green Onions: Stir in the white parts of the green onions and remove the skillet from heat.

Assemble the Bowl: To serve, place a generous scoop of jasmine rice in a bowl, top with the firecracker ground chicken mixture, and sprinkle with sesame seeds and the green parts of the green onions.

Garnish and Serve: Add cilantro if desired and serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra zing.
