Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup BBQ sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

8 small corn or flour tortillas

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease if necessary.

Stir in the honey, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let it simmer for another 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

While the beef is cooking, warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave until pliable.

To assemble the tacos, spoon the garlic butter honey BBQ beef onto the warmed tortillas. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.
