Ingredients

4 large russet potatoes, peeled and diced

1 cup diced ham (cooked)

6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup sour cream

¼ cup milk

2 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Potatoes: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add the diced potatoes. Cook until fork-tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Make the Cheese Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked potatoes, diced ham, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese (reserve ½ cup for topping), sour cream, milk, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the potato mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly in the dish.

Bake: Sprinkle the reserved cheese on top of the potato mixture. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

Uncover and Broil: Remove the foil and switch the oven to broil. Broil for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
