Ingredients

1 lb salmon fillet, skinless and boneless

1/4 cup honey

1-2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust according to spice preference)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Cut the Salmon: Slice the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes (about 1-inch pieces) and place them in a large bowl.

Marinate the Salmon: Pour the marinade over the salmon bites and gently toss to ensure all pieces are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer it to a sealable bag, and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Arrange the Bites: Remove the salmon from the marinade, reserving the leftover marinade. Place the salmon bites on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced a bit apart.

Bake the Salmon: Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Optionally, brush with reserved marinade halfway through cooking for extra flavor.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the bites from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley or cilantro. Serve warm with lemon wedges and drizzle with additional hot honey if desired.
