Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into thin strips

4 oz sliced pepperoni

2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 egg (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles according to the package instructions.

On each triangle, place a strip of mozzarella cheese and 3-4 slices of pepperoni at the wider end.

Sprinkle a pinch of grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning on top of the pepperoni and mozzarella.

Starting from the wide end, roll up each crescent triangle tightly to form a croissant shape. Tuck the ends in slightly to secure the filling.

In a small bowl, whisk the egg and brush it over the top of each croissant roll for a golden finish.

Place the rolls on the lined baking sheet and lightly drizzle olive oil over them.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the croissant rolls are puffed up and golden brown.

Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
