Ingredients

4 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced into rounds

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Ice cream or Greek yogurt for serving (optional)

Instructions

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it starts to foam.

Add the brown sugar and stir until fully dissolved and bubbly, about 1-2 minutes.

Sprinkle the ground cinnamon and sea salt into the skillet, stirring to combine.

Carefully add the sliced bananas to the skillet in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches). Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and caramelized.

Drizzle the vanilla extract over the bananas and gently toss to coat in the cinnamon sauce.

Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

Serve warm, garnished with fresh mint leaves and a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of Greek yogurt if desired.
