Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups frozen French fries

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup pepper jack cheese, shredded

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup guacamole

4 large flour tortillas

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Salsa or hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: In a medium bowl, combine the sliced flank steak, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the steak evenly and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cook the Fries: Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the frozen French fries. Spread the fries on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, typically about 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through.

Cook the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the marinated steak slices. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and set aside.

Assemble the Burritos: Lay one tortilla flat and add a layer of French fries (about 1/2 cup), followed by a generous amount of cooked steak (about 1/4 of the steak), and sprinkle with both cheddar and pepper jack cheese (approximately 1/4 cup total). Add a dollop of sour cream and guacamole on top.

Roll the Burrito: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and then roll from the bottom up, securing the filling tightly. Repeat for all tortillas.

Toast the Burritos (Optional): If desired, you can toast the finished burritos. Heat a clean skillet over medium heat and place the burrito seam-side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.

Serve: Cut the burritos in half and serve with additional sour cream, guacamole, salsa, or hot sauce as desired. Garnish with fresh cilantro for added flavor.
