Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

8 oz egg noodles (or your choice of noodles)

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece of ginger, grated

1/2 cup onion, thinly sliced

1/2 cup bell peppers (any color), thinly sliced

1 carrot, julienned

3 green onions, chopped (plus more for garnish)

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon brown sugar

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: In a large pot of boiling water, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Brown the Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet. Use a spatula to break it apart and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Add Vegetables: Stir in the sliced onion, bell peppers, and carrot. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables have softened.

Combine Sauces: In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and brown sugar. Pour this sauce mixture over the beef and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly.

Combine with Noodles: Add the drained noodles to the skillet, gently tossing everything together until the noodles are heated through and coated in the sauce.

Garnish and Serve: Stir in chopped green onions, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve hot and garnish with additional green onions if desired.
