Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1 egg, beaten

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)

4 burger buns

Fresh arugula or lettuce, for topping

Sliced tomatoes, for topping

Your favorite condiments (mayonnaise, mustard, etc.)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the burger patties to the skillet.

Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).

While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns lightly in a separate pan or toaster.

Assemble your burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with arugula, sliced tomatoes, and any desired condiments.

Place the top bun on each assembled burger and serve immediately.
