Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup onion, finely diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 large egg

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Burger buns

Lettuce and tomato for serving

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, diced onion, minced garlic, egg, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and paprika.

Using your hands, mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the burgers tough.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, about ¾-inch thick.

Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet to medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a little olive oil to prevent sticking.

Grill or cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the burgers are nicely browned.

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a skillet for a minute or two until golden.

Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun, topping with lettuce and tomato, and adding any additional condiments you desire.

Serve hot and enjoy your White Cheddar and Spinach Chicken Burgers!
