Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)

Burger buns

Lettuce, tomato, and your choice of condiments for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until all ingredients are well integrated.

Form Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making sure they are evenly shaped for consistent cooking.

Chill: Place the patties on a plate, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up and help hold their shape while cooking.

Cook the Burgers: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken patties to the skillet. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the burgers are golden brown.

Assemble the Burgers: Toast the burger buns either in the skillet or in a toaster. Start with the bottom bun, add a layer of lettuce, followed by the grilled chicken patty, and top with slices of tomato and your favorite condiments. Finish with the top bun.

Serve: Enjoy your White Cheddar and Spinach Chicken Burgers with a side of sweet potato fries or a fresh garden salad!
