1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (preferably whole wheat)

1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Olive oil, for grilling

Burger buns, for serving

Optional toppings: sliced avocado, tomato, and lettuce

Instructions
 

Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, red onion, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.

    Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.

      Preheat Grill or Skillet: Heat a grill or a large skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with olive oil to prevent sticking.
